(lookouts.com) The Chattanooga Lookouts scored five of their seven runs in the first three innings en route to a 7-3 victory over the Tennessee Smokies.
Lorenzo Cedrola kicked off with a single RBI in the first set. A set later, the team charged up the goals and Braxton Lee slammed a single to lead in two runs to make it 3-0 Lookouts. TJ Hopkins finished the first point with a two-run homer in third.
While the Lookouts were scoring points, the team’s pitching staff were also doing their part. In his first return start from IL, Nick Lodolo finished his scheduled two innings of work by pitching two clean innings on just 17 shots.
Mac Sceroler followed him and shot three scoreless innings on his AT&T Field debut. In the fifth, the home side continued to drop points as Yoel Yanqui scored on wild ground and Mark Kolozsvary scampered home on a Hopkins triple.
Tennessee ended up scoring three points, but couldn’t overcome the big deficit.
